- About to LANMD 2026 !
The International Conference on New Media Development, Art and Linguistics (LANM 2026) will be held grandly in Qingdao, a coastal innovation city in China. This conference focuses on the evolution of new media technology, the cross-border integration of contemporary art expression and linguistic research, and is committed to building an open, diverse, and cutting-edge international academic exchange platform, bringing together experts, scholars, artists, media practitioners, technology developers, and representatives of cultural institutions in fields such as communication, digital media art, linguistics, computer science, cultural research, design, and sociology. The conference will conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as the generation and dissemination mechanism of new media content driven by artificial intelligence, language usage characteristics and discourse analysis of social media and short video platforms, immersive art creation in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and metaverse, digital humanities and cross modal language art expression, network language evolution and multilingual communication strategies, interactive design and user experience of new media art, the impact of algorithm recommendations on cultural consumption and aesthetic cognition, visualization presentation of digital cultural heritage, the application of language technology (such as NLP) in art and media, copyright protection and ethical challenges in the new media environment. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, art exhibitions, and technology demonstrations, we aim to promote the deep integration of technology, art, and language, and explore new paradigms for cultural expression in the digital age. LANM 2026 emphasizes the core concept of "technology as a medium, art as a means of communication, and language as a means of conveying ideas", and is committed to building a media ecosystem that combines innovation and humanistic care in the digital wave. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in relevant international journals indexed by SSCI, Scopus, or EI to enhance academic influence.

All full paper submissions to the LANMD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of LANMD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

-Submission Guidelines-
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to lanmd@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
Call for Reviewers
As a platform for global academic communication, the quality of conference publication has always an aspect attracting much of our attention. To ensure quality of our publication and to better serve the peers in academic circle, we now call for reviewers among professionals and experts of the world. Professionals and experts who hold PhD (doctoral) degree in the conference related areas are encouraged to join in us and together, we will work hard to become a world-class academic conference.
